Diverse Examples of Foldforming
|
|
Foldforming lends itself to infinite variety of applications limited only by the skill and creativity of the maker. Foldforming techniques are used today by metal artists in jewelry, sculpture, architecture, décor, lighting, tableware, objects of utility, and more-- with styles that are rustic or refined, bold or subtle, small scale or very large. The results are often fantastically reminiscent of shapes found in nature - but certainly not always.
