About Alan Revere
Alan Revere served on the jury for the Lewton-Brain Foldform Competition in years 2014 and 2022, and offers independent recognition to one entry of his choosing for a special Revere Selection Award (2023, 2024).
Alan Revere holds a unique position in the jewelry community, with one foot firmly planted as an award-winning designer and the other as one of the country’s most prominent jewelry educators.
For two decades, Alan created a signature line of award-winning jewelry. As a teacher, Alan trained over 10,000 students at the school he founded and directed, the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, in San Francisco, California. The school closed after nearly 40 years in 2017, when Alan retired from teaching.

His Facebook group, Let’s Make Professional Jewelry has 31,000 members replicating the projects in his book, Professional Jewelry Making. Alan is President of the American Jewelry Council.
